JC Whitney - Misleading and lying customer service
I have been ordering parts from jcw since I owned my first car 40 years ago. I will never ever order anything again.
I called to order a side mirror, I asked why the exact same mirror on the drivers side cost $47 more than the passenger side. He said because more people order the passenger side mirror so they charge more...wtf....then I told him I could get the same mirro on line at discountmirros.com for $ 85 but I wasn't comfortable with the company and didn't want to give my credit card info to an outsource in the Philippines. i told them I didn't want to order from them and wanted to order from jcw since I trust them. They came back finally with a cost of 85 and that I would have it the following day.
Shortly after I got an email from discountmirrors.com. While I was on hold they placed my order with them and gave them my credit card info. In stead of getting my order the following day it has been 4 days and it has still not shipped. Jcw is no longer a trusted company, they outsource and lie.i am done with them.
I am trying to take legal action against them for giving out my credit card info without my consent. I probably won't get my part and if I call I will get a person in the Philippines that will just hang up on me after I tell her my problem,it has happened twice with them on this order alone
